Laura McAfee – Piano

Kasey McCormick-Melberg has been a vocal and piano instructor for ten years at Allegro School of Music. She received her B.A. in vocal performance from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kasey performs throughout the United States as a vocalist in many different types of music, ranging from classical to contemporary. She has had over 16 years of teaching experience in both the Indianapolis and Nashville area. Many of her students have both continued their studies in music in colleges and universities throughout the United States, or pursued careers in the performing arts. She continues to balance a very busy performance schedule with the sharing of her experiences and knowledge of music.

JuliePugh2Julie Pugh – Fundamentals of Music
Julie Crump Pugh has been a FUNDAMENTALS OF MUSIC Instructor since January 2000, at Allegro school of Music. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She is certified in “Kindermusik” instruction, and she developed the Fundamentals of Music curriculum at Allegro School. Julie, herself, plays Drums, Ukulele, and assorted preschool musical instruments. She is a “hands-on” kind of instructor, who highly encourages fun and musical exploration for young beginners, as they enter the wonderful world of music!


Debbie Roach – Piano
Debbie has been the Accompanist at Grace Baptist Church for 38 years.  She received a B.A. in Music Education from Samford University.  After working with Baptist Hospital Home Care for 23 years, she became Senior Manager, HR Shared Services for Dollar General Stores.


Caroline Siler – Piano


jamesw2James Westerfield – Violin, Cello, Piano
A versatile musician and gifted teacher, Nashville-born musician James Westerfield is dedicated to music through education, performance and personal growth. Westerfield has a diverse background in the musical arts. He has served as violinist and violist in many orchestras and ensembles. Westerfield has sung in opera, oratorio, master-classes and recitals as a countertenor soloist. He has served as director of the Clarksville Youth Orchestra at Austin Peay State University and currently serves as the Director of Music Ministries for a local church in Nashville, TN. He maintains a private studio in Nashville, TN.
